Our 8th Annual Drummathon was our second to be held at Grandscape in The Colony, TX. This was our first Drummathon to blow away our $50,000 goal by breaking $60,000! We raised a total of $62,203 - the breakout was $42,000 through fundraisers, $10,000 through eBay touchless auctions, and $10,000 in merchandise sales - that's $20k from day of fundraising alone! The event featured a few notable changes including killer graphics (designed and run bySmall Media) identifying who is on stage, whether a band, celebrity, drum line or breast cancer survivors which really helped draw foot traffic to our show. Dallas Mavericks drumline entertained the crowd for their third time in Drummathon history. Additionally, we had new activities, one from friends Texas Custom Stoneworks with a fun rock painting booth and another donated by the Taylor family - new Breast Cancer Can Stick It! cornhole boards. As a result of these changes coupled with a great line up, we experienced record breaking day of fundrasing! Over the past few years, day of funds raised have grown from $10,000, to $12,000, with 2022 raising $18,000. We are excited to announce in 2022 year we raised $20,000 the day of which added to online fundraiging brought the over all total to $62,203. It was our fifth straight year to meet and "BEAT!" our $50,000 goal! Thank you to all the fundraisers, sponsors, donors, volunteers and supporters for helping make Drummathon 2022 a huge success! Grandscape presents, Drummathon 2022! Our 8th annual Drummathon 2022 will be...drum roll please...October 9, 2022 at Grandscape in The Colony, TX (25 miles north of downtown Dallas). This is the second year it will be held at this thriving entertainment district, a perfect way to support October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Grandscape sees over 8 million visitors per year!

Drummers, musicians, and friends come together from all over the world to raise funds through their own online fundraising page to fight against breast cancer. The day of the event will feature live music interspersed with drum solos as well as solos by some of the top celebrity rock star drummers - with a chance to drum alongside the rock stars! Simultaneously, attendees to this free family-friendly event can relax on the lawn or visit shops, restaurants, vendor booths, and autograph booths as well as browse our "touchless bid" silent auctions and our Official Merchandise. There will even be opportunities to snap a picture with our celebrity guests. While at the show, MC's will be throwing out an array of giveaways from our amazing sponsors.

As always, Drummathon is FREE to attend and FREE to register, and you don't have to be a drummer to join in on the fun - anyone can register and fundraise!

The top 25 fundraisers ($250 minimum) by September 25, 2022 at 7p CT will receive:

A slot for their opportunity to play a timed drum solo at the event. NOTE: If you are one of the 25 fundraisers and are not a drummer, you will not be required to play a solo.
A goody bag full of freebies

In addition to the above prizes, the top THREE fundraisers ($250 raised minimum) by September 25, 2022 at 7 p.m. CST will win:

A 1st, 2nd or 3rd place trophy or plaque
Hundreds of dollars worth of amazing prizes from our sponsors (if you can't attend in person, we will ship right to your door!)

All funds raised go towards mammograms, financial assistance for breast cancer treatment, and for breast cancer research and trials.

What is the Drummathon?

Drummathon is an annual family-friendly fundraising event that brings together the drumming community (of all skillsets and ages) for one common goal: to fight breast cancer.

As Drummathon works to fight breast cancer, it is also a celebration of life, music, and passion! Top fundraising drummers have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of family, friends and attendees on a global stage! The event also features auctions, sales of Official Breast Cancer Can Stick It! merchandise and Drummathon gear, with some great musical guests sprinkled throughout the event. It's fun for the whole family! Leading up to the event, drummers, musicians, and friends alike raise funds online to compete for a plethora of awesome prizes.

The 2015 inaugural event was hosted by Dan Shinder of Drum Talk TV and kicked off right with rock star drummers Carmine Appice (Ozzy, Rod Stewart, Ted Nugent), Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath, Dio, Heaven & Hell), and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Bang Tango, Mr. Big). Since that time, the celebrity alumni list has grown exponentially.
